If your Land Rover or Jaguar runs on a Diesel engine and is newer than 2009, your car is likely fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), this is a filter fitted to your car that captures and stores exhaust soot, in order to reduce the CO2 emissions from your vehicle, for the benefit of the environment.

DPF CLEANING AT JLR ESSEX

It is illegal to remove your DPF on your vehicle and will count as a modification to the origional specification of the car, doing so can result in a fine, failed MOT, and an invalid insurance policy.

Every 300 miles or so your DPF can super-heat leading to an increased exhaust temperature in order to burn off and empty the excess soot in a process known as ‘active regeneration or DPF regeneration’. Every time your DPF regenerates residual carbon ash is left behind, over time this build-up can block your DPF and cause numerous problems with your engine. If the DPF has not been cleared by passive regeneration. During active regeneration the engine will let the exhaust gases run hot.

If your DPF can not regenerate due to a carbon buildup blockage a warning light on your dashboard may appear.

Make a booking today if your DPF has become blocked, or your warning light is displaying on your dashboard,

Our DPF Cleaner and regenerate starts from £249 plus VAT – removal of the DPF is charged extra POA.

Land Rover DPF Cleaning

CARBON BUILD-UP CLEANING AT JLR ESSEX

We give the highest quality carbon cleaning treatments to help maintain your Land Rover or Jaguar and keep it running as smoothly as possible.

In addition, our products use water and cutting-edge HHO engine cleaning technology, using electrolysis to split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen in order to produce HHO gas.

Oxyhydrogen gas is fed into the car’s engine through the air intake valve, and mixed with the air and fuel in the combustion chamber. When these all mix the HHO gas is able to combust at a higher temperature than the fuel, thus harmlessly atomising any carbon deposits in the DPF.

A blocked DPF can prove costly to replace, therefore, thoroughly cleaning your Diesel Particulate Filter is a much more sensible alternative. We can remove 100% of ash and soot particles from your DPF, and are equipped with numerous accessories in order to accommodate all Diesel Particulate Filters.

FAQs

You shouldn’t drive with the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) light on. The DPF light indicates that there is an issue with the DPF system, which can lead to increased emissions and reduce engine performance. One of the main reasons for a blocked filter is driving Short journeys at low speeds.

If your Land Rover or Jaguar is a diesel car and is newer than 2009, your car is likely fitted with a DPF

DPF stands for diesel particulate filter and is on diesel fuel cars. These filters are used to minimize the number of hazardous particulates that escape the exhaust systems of diesel vehicles.

Carbon cleaning is the most common fix for a vehicle’s DPF. If your dashboard DPF warning light has come on, it is common that carbon buildup can be clogging your DPF, hindering its ability to regenerate, cleaning your DPF with oxyhydrogen is the best way to eliminate 100% of carbon residue and restore your DPF to its full potential.

Keeping your DPF Carbon free can enhance your driving experience by smoothing out your engine’s performance on motorways as the particulate matter can also cause a decrease in fuel efficiency and lead to an increase in fuel consumption. Carbon cleaning your vehicle can also revitalize the inlet system and restore reduced horsepower. Carbon cleans have been seen to increase engine performance, boost fuel economy and even reduce engine noise.
